Swiss silver key wound pocket watch c1907

Product Description

This is a Swiss pocket watch made circa 1895 but was made for the English market. It was sent to England where it was retailed by H Samuel. The watch has a Swiss silver case stamped .925 silver and London import marks for London 1907. Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, is signed “H Samuel, Manchester, Patent Balance, Oct 5 1895, Swiss” and is in 99% mint condition – a very clean movement Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel and the back cover pops open when you press the button in on the stem – please don’t prize it open. The case has coin edged sides, a vacant crest on the back and is decorated with engine turning. The case also has a removable gilt dust cap with a slide catch. The case is in 90% mint condition – the bow is a little wobbly and light bruises and dents Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt and blue steel hands, is signed “Acme Lever, H. Samuel. Manchester, Swiss Made” and is in 99% mint condition – little marks only The watch has a mineral glass The watch measures 51mm wide x 17mm deep The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a key
