This is a Swiss Made pocket watch made for and retailed by J W Benson of London. The Swiss silver case has London import marks for 1914 Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “J W Benson, 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill, By Warrant to HM The late Queen Victoria, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made” # 3104256and also 18.68N under the balance. The movement is in 95% mint condition Case – the movement comes in a silver half hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has blue enamel numbers and engine turning. The case is in 85% mint condition – small bruises and dents on the back Dial – the white enamel dial has a set of blue steel hands. The dial is in 100% mint condition The watch has a synthetic glass over the dial and in the front cover The watch is stem wound / pin set The watch measures 48mm wide x 12mm deep
